The International Network for Government Science Advice (Ingsa) is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a conference in Rwanda. As the president of Ingsa, Rémi Quirion sat down with RPN to discuss the upcoming event and share his excitement about bringing together experts from around the world.
The conference, which will be held in Rwanda, marks the fifth for the organization (sixth if you count a virtual conference held in 2020). This will be the first time that Ingsa holds its global gathering in a Global South country. The focus of this event will be on the importance of science advice in developing countries, and attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on Ingsa’s achievements over the past ten years and discuss what lies ahead.
Quirion emphasized that this milestone event is crucial for Ingsa’s continued growth and success. He expressed his excitement at bringing together experts from around the world to collaborate and share their knowledge and experiences. The conference promises to be a platform for meaningful discussions and networking opportunities for all those involved in government science advice.
